when i have my headlights on the left one is bright and the right one is dim, but when i hit the brights the right one gets bright and the left one goes dim. when i pull it again the little blue light on the dash for the brights stays on until i turn the lights completely off and back on.
had a similar problem with the lights staying on lot long ago fixed it by taking oou the ground wires and putting new tips on on them, u can find the grounds under the battery tray i found it easiest to remove the driver side headlight and reach them through there.
Check the headlight fuses as well....
