It wont work anymore since GM changed the login process. Only 1 username and password for all the shop.

I know a few owners of GM dealerships nearby. Worked in the industry while i was in highschool. I could probably get the login, what exactly is it that i would need to know?
Gimme a lil bit of info and i can try my best. I wouldnt mind access either.

This may be a little off topic, but has anyone ever tried to persuade GM to make the online service manuals available to the public? Why do they restrict access to them? That's the one thing I miss about my Hyundai - they had all the service manuals, tech bulletins, etc. available online to anyone. There are many other manufacturers that have the same set up. Why doesn't GM?

yeah sorry about that, i contacted the mods about it. Go to service.gm.com, click service information tab, click the one for "other users", user: si2kam15, pass: am151100

Hope this doesnt need to be taken down like the other one. If so; Mods, sorry

Hey man, if you've got a minute, I'd really appreciate it if you could get me the door removal section for a 2002 Sunfire coupe. Just e-mail it to kaotik210@hotmail.com If you can pull it off, you will be my hero.

No one gets free access (illegally, I might add) anymore... you have to pay for the info.. and it ain't cheap...

http://www.gmtechinfo.com/techinfo/

$20 for 1 day, $45 for 5 days, $150 for a month, $1200 for a year.. ouch!!

I used to see copies of the SI info on EBay all the time... not at the moment though. I wouldn't mind seeing a J-car specific CD.. hint hint, GM

^^^^ he just posteed the most recent info .. the terminal my guy uses stays logged in all the time now .. Plus I have been told the shut the connection down @ 7pm Pacific time.

If I can get in I will try to get everything I can .. I might even pay for a day on the other site just to see what I can snag !!!
