My check engine light came on the other day and the code was 0440...or evap fault...the only mod I did this week was a throttle body from a 2.3 Sunfire. there are 2 vaccuum line attachments on my 2.2 TB (see pic) and only one on the 2.3 TB...will this keep throwing code because of the line?
no the other line is just hanging loose...I wrapped it in electrical tape...there is
nowhere to connect the second line on the 2.3 TB...what should I do? (gas cap is fine)

Go to an auto parts store, buy a $.50 vacuum T, and T it off of one of the other lines. Those vac lines are there for a reason, you can't just tape them off and expect all to be good.

"T" what?! I am confused...I understand that the 2200 motor has a different vac hose setup than the 2.3, but the 2.3 TB only has one vac line...i don't know what you mean by T it off the other line....unless you mean cut the loose hose and run hose into the single hose?
alot people did this swap and made no mention of the vac lines...what did everyone else do?
Don't know how to put it any clearer.....
You buy a T, a T (Tee) is just what it looks like, it allows you to use two vaccuum lines with one vacuum connection. That way you can hook that vac line back up like its supposed to be.
Just trust me on this one, go to an auto parts store and ask for a vacuum T, as soon as they hand it to you, you'll now how to use it. Its like being handed a spoon and a bowl of soup, you just know how it works, no instruction involved.
