i took my a/c off the other day and i guess a sensor was left unplugged. I have two
sensors hanging, one is for the a/c compressor and the other goes from the coolant
tank to the part thats left unplugged. Does anyone know where it plugs into? I cant
seem to find out where it goes. BTW the code my car was throwing was
P0118 "Engine Coolant Temperature sensor circuit high input"
Looks like it plugs into your ECT sensor.
the computer is always montioring sensors voltage, if the voltage goes to far above or below a calibratlied limit it will throw a CEL.
The sensor being unplugged is why the code was thrown.

aight i found out where the other sensor goes... it plugs into one of the a/c lines.
that wouldn't cause the check engine light would it? What about the coolant temp
sensor? The car runs fine until it gets up to 195F, normal op temp, and then it starts
running sluggish and if i turn the car off and then try to start it back up it wont start.
