My girlfriend drives a 1995 sunfire se with 190 000 kms on it. When you push the clutch to the floor it makes a rattling sound, but when you leave it out is stops. And it only does it 75% of the time, other times it wont make the sound. I was thinking the release bearing maybe? Just thought id ask.
Yup, sounds right.
If it rattles on engagement, the disc is it.
Kinda like a brake rotor pulsating, high, and low spots.
Pretty much, you are looking at a comprehensive clutch job in the near future.
Its to bad cause the clutch seems new enough. Do you think that it will cause problems or just keep making that sound?
