I have a 98 Cavalier. Everytime I put it in drive or reverse the headlights turn on, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this prob without just removing the bulb altogether

Its called the Daytime Running Lights, and its supposed to do that. You can search around on the forums for the DRL disable mod, but you could also pull your e-brake up 1 click and they will shut off.

go to the bcm. pull the connectors until you find a dark blue wire (it's the only dark blue wire in the whole bunch). about 2" from the connectoryou newed to cut it. strip a little insulation off the peice that is hanging out of the connector and add about 4 to 5 feet of wire to it. Take the end of the extra lengh and ground it. you DRL will not come on any more. did it to mine and it works great.
