Granddaughter's 97 Cavalier. Windshield wiper park position is straight up, not where it is supposed to be. Someone said there was a "clip" of somekind on the mechanical linkage that controlls this. And, when it brakes off, the park position is not right. I need to know in advance what to have on hand to fix it when she comes. I have a Haynes book, but not much help. Does any one know where I can see a picture?? Mucho thanks. Joe

The problem most likely causing this is the wiper motor has been replaced...and the mechanic who installed it didn't re-install it properly i have the same problem sorry man no real solutions except take a look at the motor and where the windsheld arms are bolted, remove the arms and watch the cycle they take.....wish I could help more
