we changed the air filter, changed the plugs, wires, next thing we were gonna do is change the oil & oil filter...
this car feel like it's going to stall out when we come to a stop...
anyone know the cause of this? automatic transmission, not manual..
Torque Converter Clutch fails to release and causes the car to stall when it comes to a stop. Most of the time it is a stuck Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid.
Try To Unplug The Solenoid From The Transmission, Then Take Car For A Ride, If It Stays Running While Comming To A Stop Then You Need To Replace The Solenoid.
Just To Let You Know Alot Of Memembers Had This Same Promblem,And Alot Of Them Say To Just Leave The Solenoid Unpluged And It Will Run Fine.
Hope This Helps

the TCC switch is located in the trans...you have to remove the side cover of the trans and the switch will be right there......hope this helps any..
