Hello JBO member,
I have a 2000 Z24 Silver Cavalier 2dr with a 5 spd manual. I was wondering if anyone whether is it a cavy or sunfire (because I have a friend who owns a sunfire) with this problem. When I'm driving I can hear air rushing into the inside of the car through the windows and it is very noticeable when driving on the interstate or freeways at higher speeds. I was thinking maybe it could be the weather stripings on the windows and maybe they need replacing? But I am not too sure and I don't want to spend money on something and the problem still be there. Any suggestions or advice would be great! Thank you and have a nice day.

My g/f's 97 Sunfire coupe had a wind noise problem on the passenger side. There was a loose seal at the rear edge of the window, on the inside. When you pushed the seal rearward, the wind noise stopped. Some superglue worked for a fix. There pry are better fixes, but the car was going to be sold within a few years, so that quick fix worked fine.

hmm my 02 does that on the drivers side. but i am a coupe...
Mine has done that for awhile
mine does also, 01 Z24. i noticed my cousin's bf's 05 ls sport does it too. just sucks.
Peace Out!!!
Yep, guilty. I hear it on my driver side... Not sure if it does it on the passenger side.
Whoever said that nothing is impossible has never tried to slam a revolving door.
Another thing you might wanna look at is the black trim piece on the door (b-pillar) I think thats the right pillar. B/c on the drivers side mines got a gap b/c one of clip things is broken and I can hear the wind also.

I had the wind noise problem too. I have a '01 Z24. I replaced the trim piece at the back of the window (going from top to bottom). Same thing as redrider02. Clip had broke at the top. Fixed the problem.
