Well i have had my car about a month now. I have noticed this Squeaking noise that sounds like its coming from the wheels. It only makes this noise for a few seconds and only after it sits all nite or for like 8 hrs when im done working..........anybody know what could be causing this

I think it's the brake pads. My car will sometimes make a growling noise from the brakes when I'm backing down the driveway for the first time after the car has set for a while. If that's your problem too then it's nothing to worry about.

God bless America.

well i think the "growling" noise is from your pads vibrating. they have some goo you can put on your shoes when you install them to keep em from vibrating.

as for the "squeek" is it a rubber squeek or a metalic squeek?

Just go to your local auto parts stores and in the brake section there are aerosol cans of the stuff you need. Can't remember the exact name but it is'nt hard to find.

the stuff they are talking about is like a glue in a spray can. my car would squeak the same as yours and i used some stuff in a small blue aerosol can to keep the pads in place and prevent them from squeaking.

Peace Out!!!

the stuff is like a glue, so you would have to remove your brake pads, spray it on the backs of the pads, and then reinstall your brake pads. it DOES NOT go where the brake pad and rotor make contact.

Peace Out!!!

thats on the home page of www.j-body.org. he is asking here because he wants to acquire knowledge and information about his car. thats what this site is all about. so what if his car is still under warranty. he is smart to come here first and ask because he may find an easy solution for the problem that he can do, or if not, he will be more informed so that he does not get the run around at the dealership.

03WhiteLS-SportCoupe: just take your car to the dealership and tell them exactly what it does. they probably wont be able to duplicate the problem since your car may be warmed up by the time you get there. tell them that you are pretty sure it is the loose brake pads causing the squeak and push them to do something about it even though they may not be able to duplicate the problem.

Peace Out!!!
