It looks like brake fluid, but it looks like it's coming from the under carriage? It is definitely NOT pee! I just noticed it today when I was trying to get up my snow covered drive way. It happened once, then I moved forward and checked again and it was there again. It's a base 2002 2.2L cavalier

Hmm, I just noticed the exact same thing with my auto 2.2L '99 Cav. Same as you.....was shoveling driveway & noticed the same bright yellowish leakage. It's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from with all the snowmelt running off of my car.
I'm going to check my Haynes manual because I can never remember all the different colors of fluids.

Since it is a manual you could check you clutch fluid and lines .. I would also check the back of you brake calipers and hoses .. those would be the only yellowish fluid in the car ..

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.
Well mine's an auto, so I think we can rule out the whole clutch fluid thing. I suppose it could be brake fluid. I can't seem to pinpoint the leak, though to appears to be coming from under the engine bay.

Could be the AC compressor. Get under the car and take a look.
I've got no AC in my car, it seems it only leaked in the places where i was really gunning it. It's not a constant leak. basically i'll have to just go out in the street, spin the tires for a lil bit and then check the under carriage, any other ideas what it could be?
if your coolant has been replaced from the original dex-cool, then that could be it.
It's water from condensation in your exhaust system. I've had that every winter with mine. I don't know for sure where the color comes from, but it's nothing to worry about. It concerned me at first too, until I saw some of it dripping out of the muffler one day.
There's probably enough leakage at other joints in the exhaust system to allow some water to make its way through, even if there isn't an audible leak. I've also noticed it dripping from the flange behind the converter - usually when I've let the car idle for a few minutes to warm up, or when I've just had to move the car a short distance. I only looked because I too was concerned about it (as it looks similar to regular coolant), but now I just ignore it. Maybe it's the sulfur content in the gas giving it that color.

a light yellowish almost clear think fluid is brake/clucth fluid if you broke an A/C line you could be seeing the A/C dye which would look like a yellow highlighter, if it looks liek rust water don't worry
i'd swear r32 dye is green. don't worry unless you see it by the gas tank. condensation can get into the tank, water is more dense that gasoline - thus sinks to the bottom and rusts out the tank.

i've monitored it lately and i can't find any leakage on the driveway or on snow, probably just condensation, brake fluid and clutch fluid are normal
r32? R-12 was the old non-environmental freon, and R-134a is the new non-CFC kind. The dye in it will usually show up as an intense neon green if there's a leak, but the compressor oil in your AC system is usually a funny yellow shade. It will also bubble like its carbonated when it leaks out. Think it's refrigerant forced into the oil from the pressures within the system.

u must have something confused with the gastank. they dont make plastic gastanks. least i have yet to see one. cept on atvs and stuff to that respect.

r32--yeah, i was snoozin on that one. saw a pic of a skyline.
here is a gas tank, with my magnetic parts tray sticking to it like a magnet, thus it is made of ferrous material.
if you have had the brake fluid replaced withen the last 20k miles, that is most likely what it is. I forget which one is yellow but gm does use both dot 3 and dot 4 brake fluid.
i would keep an eye on the fluid in the brake master cylinder. if it is brake fluid you could be in for a very nice surprise when coming to a stop on day.
The 03+'s have a plastic gas tank I believe.
