Do they make a matress head gasket for the 93 2.2 cavi? I recentley changed mine and had to have the head decked. I used the proper shim and now when I start it the car billows white smoke..

maybe when you blew the head gasket the first time you got a little to much water in the exhaust .. have you run it for 10 mins or so to see if the smoke clears ??

What is this Mattress HG you speak of ?

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.

I did not let the car run for more than 2 min. then got worried....

I was told by my Matco tool guy about matress gaskets. he said when you deck heads instead of using a shim you could use a thicker head gasket....matress gasket.
