have fuel pressure(60psi),undamaged and tight timing chain. white hot spark and will not start. tried using starter fluid and still nothing. going for the crankshaft sensor next. anybody have any other suggestions? any help would be appreciated.

2004 2.2 ohc ecotec. checked all the fuses today with a tester just to make sure but they are all good. Got any ideas? this all started with a bad fuel pump. its been replaced and i'm getting 60 psi at the schroeder valve. could there be air in the rail? thanks for the reply by the way.
How did you test for spark? If it's got spark and you can smell it being flooded I'd do a compression test. Crank sensor won't change anything. If it were bad you wouldn't have spark. Try pulling the plugs and drying them out?
