I recently had a motor swap done in my 99 Z24, currently my old PS pump is installed on it and has begun to make a little noise and I will likely be replacing it soon. I requested to keep my old motor when the shop did the swap and when I got my old motor back I also got a bed full of parts and accessories from the newer engine. The power steering pump that originally was on the new motor looks alittle different on the bottom. It has a place for a sensor connector where mine has no sensors. Anyone have any idea why one has that and other doesnt? Im not sure what I will run into installing that pump although I imagine it would work just the same.
Can you grab a picture of both and upload them. I assume you will not have an issue, but I wouldn't mind seeing the pump with the sensor. Neither of my 99s had any sensors.
The "new" pump could be from an n-body car.
