Is the parking brake cable adjustment located under the center console on a 2000 LS sedan?
I can't find anything under the car to take the slack out of the cable.
The parking brake handle pulls all the way up and barely holds the car. The rear brakes are fine w/ plenty of material on them.

If i recall right the adjustment is made inside the brake drum. I kno u can put the car in reverse and pull ur parking brake it should set itself. Also i kno on some cavs theres a nut u can tighten on the cable at the lever. Sometimes the cable just gets stretched or maybe theres an adjustment at the rear on the cable equalizer. Few ideas to get u started
