Alright so I have a 2003 cavalier with the 2.2 ecotec. I put a hole in one of my coolant lines (5\8 one coming out of the resevoir) fixed the line and took it up the road. Noticed the temp Guage climbing very quickly, no heat, no pressure in any of the lines. Just put new water pump in, new thermostat and still same issue. Literally 0 pressure in any lines and the reservoir has not moved. Almost like a block somewere. I had used headgasket repair a couple thousand miles ago cause I thought I had a bad headgasket. Turned out my fan wasn't kicking on. Could some of that plugged up the heater core?

Checked the heater core. Blew air through it and it's fine. If I put pressure in the reservoir using a air compressor it seems to hold temp, if I drain the air, I go back to no pressure in the lines and the temp runs back up. I did a compression test and it reads 120 across all cylinders with throttle shut. Can't figure it out. Need help on this asap
