got a 2 dr 04. the pass door only opens from the inside. ovisly something is broken cause sometimes when u slam the door u hear stuff jingling. what should i look for when i open it up and is the repair hard to do.
Probably the outside handle is has the latch pieces broken I would pull both front door cards off to compare the two. They should be the same just kind of like a mirror image of the other and see what's missing on the broken one. Chances are you'll just need a new handle assembly

Take your door panel off, and check the rod that connects to the outside handle. It could be as simple as hooking the rod back up, and possible replacing the plastic clip holding it in place, and that could be what your hearing when you slam the door

ya the plastic clip on the handle was broke. i replaced the handle and works fine
