Down to the final details on my engine swap, I'm putting a '99 LD9 into a '00 Cav Z24. The last issue I have (I hope) is the 99 has a 1-wire O2 sensor. The harness for the '00 car requires a 2-wire sensor ... my question is, do I have to change the O2 or can I just connect the purple wires? If I connect the purple on the harness to the purple on the O2, what would I do with the yellow wire on the harness? Does anyone know? I realize this is key to the AF mix so I don't want to F* it up but I know the 99 O2 sensor is good and I don't want to change it out if I don't have to.
