When my Is running sometimes my a/c compressor decides to make a rattling noise even when I don't have on my a/c. The only way to get it to stop is to turn the a/c on, I'm not sure what would cause this, anyone know what the problem is?
I had a similar problem shortly after I bought my car. Although mine was a constant rattling noise. I figured out it was the a/c compressor clutch making the noise and replaced the compressor to fix it.
