Hey guys I'm having a real issue with my daughters 04 sunfire . When I first got the car it would do random stalls at stops and would crank and not start . at first, had no check engine and securitylights play with the keyless remote it would start then stall '. Some times no gauge lights at all when get no start problem. Check engine and no security lights it the check engine light would flash and you would hear buzzing '''. Upper left of dash... you can hear the fuel pump go on/off had fuel pump/module/coil replaced ....... did the Same thing was very intermindt.

did some reading and suggested to replace the ignition switch and key from the dealer .
i did that did relearn and was fine for 3 months now has same situation '.but worse now Could it be the bcm / I'm lost at this point any help on this

Hi Steve,

Did you check the ECM for stored error codes?
These troubles sure must have left some trace there even if the CEL light is not on.
Go and read the codes! That might give you some clues as to how to proceed.
I believe some outlets (Autozone?) would read it free for you.
