I have a friend with a super cheap car from a know junk dealer. The most current issue (besides the time bomb ticking) is the strange idel. as you come to stoping, it will either jump up and try to take off, aprox 1300-1500 rpm. Or it will dip down to 300-500 rpm, usualy ending in a stall. I replaced the IAC with no change, the TPS was also checked with no issues, no vacum leaks, good comp. plugs n wires ok. Now tonight the TRAC light came on, and now it shifts very hard. could this whole thing be a tranny issue? Im leaning towards that. Im no dummy but im stummped. All signs pointed to IAC
