have a 2002 cavalier with a little over 212k miles and has a knocking noise.at start-up is real bad but after it warms up no knocking or anything. I know its the lifters cause it increases like crazy when i press on the throttle. is there any way i can fix this or do i not have to worry about this.
is it a knocking or rattling noise get a long screwdriver listen stick it on different areas of the engine while its running and listen to it to find the noise is it a deep hard knock ora loud ticking noise?
