So my car is running great, just replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, etc... However, it doesn't want to start unless I open the throttle sliightly while turning the key over, then it fires right up with no problem. If I try to start it normally, it turns over, but won't fire up like it should.
Any ideas what could be causing this issue ? It runs great, no check engine lights, no problems. It just won't start up like it should.
The IACV is good and I've recently cleaned it thoroughly. Also replaced the fuel pressure regulator.
Maybe tps? Get a scanner on (that can read live data) and see if anything goofy is going on
Have a nice day.
Good idea, thank you. It's a 99 z24, OBDII. Would a Tech 2 be what I need to scan live data ?
