Could be a few things. Rod Knock, lifters(which it's a bit loud for that). Sounds like my cav thats in the garage right now that has a #3 rod bearing go out.
id say a rod knock...i had a 99 Grand Am with an LD9 That had a rod knock and the knock would come and go when it just sat there idling but was consistant as i revved it
