Existing engine still runs but rough idle, no compression on #1, burns oil anyways.
So I'm planning to pull it from the top. Have a cherry picker.
Any advice?
pull it from the bottom. just drop the subframe holding the engine and the trans, seems like more work BUT it is easier. pulling from the top on our cars is the biggest pain ever.
Just make sure you have everything unbolted, unplugged, and out of the way. Wasn't hard at all for my brother and I... and we used an ancient come along.
