Hello Guys. I have read through post after post about this dang ac compressor and about how it will not turn over unless the relat is bypassed
I have a lot of freon sititng in the line, and i need to get this thing turned over.
I can tell you its not locked up and i have also spliced in a jumper wire that goes from the green wire on the compressor to the battery, still wont kick on
I have read about jumping the relay with number 30 and 84? i dont even see any numbers like those on the relay box.
It seems there is no reall good write up on this, im taking pics as i go and wanting to do a write up on this, so any help would be great.
I also swapped out the relay with my fuel pump relay, and still nothing.
If you jumped the wire on the compressor straight to power and it didnt come on then yoir compressor clutch is toast.
Pull the relay out, you'll see the side of it has numbers.
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
Hmm, so it can be shot and still not be locked up. I had a feeling i was going to have to buy another one.

Pretty sure freon covers most all refrigerants unless your talking propane ... also i rarely see problems with r 12 sustens. Most a/c fixes i do are on near new or even brand new equipment... all r 134 a
