lately i been driving my car and notice a noise coming from the front passenger side area, when i'm driving the car, there will be a constant clunking noise coming from it every time i get it a little gas, and getting going and stopping it sounds like metal on metal coming from that area too, i was thinking the cv shaft, but id like to get your look on it too thanks

Is the clunking relative to speed? Metal on metal during braking sounds like @!#$ty brakes. I don't think cv joints would make any kind of noise during straight line braking.

Could be a wheel bearing. Cv shafts normally just make a popping noise on turns and acceleration if they are bad.
