Manual Tranny Change

Stupid question guys...
I would like to have my manual tranny fluid changed after reading some posts on what is the best fluid to use...
but IDK how to change it
Is there a drain plug in the transmission? or do I have to syphon the fluid out?
Also... when replaceing... how much fluid do I put in?

I haven't changed my fluid since 09 but my trans got an allen head screw on the bottom side facing the driver tire for the drain plug. Im sure it used 1.8 quarts of ATF fluid, I used mobil one synthetic trans fluid.

Jay..THere is a allen head bolt on the side of the tranny...

When filling do not use the big red cap..instead there is a allen head beside it for filling.

Fill with 2.6l of B&M trickshift synthetic and be happy with your now smooth, quiet trans.

theres an allen ket on the bottom to drain it then there is an allen key on the top you fill the trans until it comes out this hole then put the screw back in

only thing is you will over fill the trans if you have it jack up and you don't have the car on jack stands
yo uhave to have it level for this to work properly.

its to take 1.8
2 isn't a big deal

i used GM manual transmission fluid as thats what the getrags were using and recently gm started using ATF in the getrags. either or is fine i know syncrosmesh is used in the isuzu transmissions

also the getrags are a service free transmission just so you know
