no reverse lights

On a 96 cavi 2.2 5sp what would cause no reverse lights all the bulbs are good but have no reverse lights usually doesn't bother me but last night backing up in a field with stumps kinda made me a little leary any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

On the trans there is your backup switch... It's bad....

Well heres the kicker I got 14 volts to the plug goin to the light socket and nothing at the light socket . I guess both light sockets are bad?

Ok but if the switch is bad would I have power to the light sockets by not out to the bulb

I had the same problem with my 2002 sunfire. switched out the switch located on the transmission and it fixed the problem. super super easy fix.

I am looking for struts for my newly aquired Eibach pro-kit performance coils, If anybody has some?

Did you have power through the wires to the sockets or were the wires dead to?

Fixed them it was the driver side socket all I did was take a wire ran it to the green wire and to them empty hole and shazam its fixed . I guess one of the circuits was bad but its good now
