hey every one im new to this site and need help don't know if its already been hit on but this is my issue. if idling to warm up the car runs fine, as soon as it hits the first line it troughs a check engine light and the fan comes on, idle for about 1-2 minutes fan turns of and so does the check engine light. will driving the car shifts to third and starts cutting out and running rich with a check engine. its a 95 cavalier with the 2.2l and cant seem to link to the computer all fuses are fine and all wires from , too the ecm are good and ecm is fine just put a new one in there.did a compression check and all is good 150 140 150 140, also just replaced the temp sending unit as well. if anyone has had this issue please let me know what you found out thanks
Robert

its a 95, OBD1. unless you're scanner can read both OBD1 and OBD2 you won't be able to connect to the ECM with it.
