i changed my transmission pan because it was bent and i thought it was leaking. So i sealed it all up new gasket filter and its leaking from above the trans pan where the vss is. its 1997 z24 I know theres a drain plug that you fill up the trans and when it leaks out there its full but being that the vss is above the drain plug shouldnt it have no trans fluid up there anyway?

If the sensor isnt sealed well enough when the transmission passes fluid around and the like it could just pass right out. I beleive there is generally just an o-ring on the sensor.

ya i changed the o ring but it wouldnt really seat well at all so i used some permatex hope it seals it right up
