So the blower on my g/fs car (2002 cav NON eco automatic) just stopped working. I know that if speeds 1 and 2 stop, but 3 and 4 work, then it is just the resistor. But if all speeds stop is it the blower, or could it still be just the resistor?
Well, it can be the resistor, but I would say it was if it only had the high speed, normally the high speeds will just go straight to the blower after the switch and bypass the resistor. I would check the switch, (test light at the blower connector no light=bad switch) if the night does come on, then yeah the blower is bad. But now would be the best time to replace that resistor since its a PITA with the blower in. While ur there, might as well. Goodluck!
Try kicking the blower and see if that helps. My resistor went out, then my blower went out. Go figure. I got my blower from Advance and it comes with a lifetime warranty.
