I have a problem that I just noticed with my 02 sunfire 2.2 ohv. Figured Id ask the people that really know this car.

What happends is around 45-50 it surges from 1500-2000 rpms like a bad idle problem but its while your driving down the road.
The car just hit 90k miles and ive already gave it plugs and wires at 75k. Everything else works fine no problems taking off or shifting or anything like that.

The only thing I could think of was the torque conv lock up switch? I just noticed on my way home so i didnt get a chance to really play with it to see what it does. I figured if i can tap on the break while driving and it doesnt keeps doing it then its that switch? Dont know much about these cars to know if there are any known problems.
Anyone have some advice?
