Clunking on decel.....

I was in another province when the fiance started getting clunking on deceleration there is no noise on acceleration, no torn boots, wheel bearings found to be good I do know she needs lower control arm bushing(no big deal), I am able to jiggle the axel shaft to make the clunking while in the air, would you guys say either outer or inner cv joints?, I can cause to clunk by jiggling it in AND out towards the tranny I would like to have her feeling safe as this car is for her so most of it is staying stock only 160,xxx km on it and great shape. I am leaning towards getting the whole axel assembly, anyone have any other solutions, yes was checked when changed her tires to winters, I do have to change axel seal either way, since hoping to add v6 in her next year. Please any suggestions would be awesome

Sounds like a motor mount to me.

Looked over your post quik and didnt see the part about you making the noise with the cv shaft. That seems odd to me. Sorry I cant help you out more
