Well I bought a 2.2 ecotec out of a 05 cavalier and it supposedly has 19,000 miles on it, I seen the title and it said it had that low of miles on it.
I got it home and took the intake manifold off to look at the valves and they have some rust sitting on top of them, not a heavy build up just some little surface rust and little flakes..
Also there is some oil around the oil pan.

Now he gave me a 30 day warranty (it was a dealership) and a receipt.
Should I go ahead and take it apart and clean it up a little bit or just go ahead and put it in my car?

HI dont see what it hurt, mine was in a yard and my girls sat for over a year and we started without hesitaion lol. All good

Same with mine...sat in the garage for a good 1.5 years..

Just make sure all the fluids are new and the gaskets are good, and swap it over.
