Ive got a 2001 cavalier ls, 4 door, 2.4L, auto. Ive got this code coming up. I changed the gas cap (mostly because it was the origional and looked to be in crappy shape). I know the previous owner had some evap work done but im not sure what was changed, i havent had a chance to go poking around under neath yet. Any thoughs or sugestions? It hasent affected the driveability at all.

I have found these codes are usually a leak in the system-I don't have my book here but if it's emissions leak the dealer can do a smoke test but If I remember correctly the purge valve on back of the engine, the vent valve by the tank, were all suspect to cause this.
