When driving i hear this rubbing noise and when i turn slightly to the right it goes away. Im thinking its the hub and/or bearing?
Any ideas?

what i would do is turn the wheel and check the clearance for rubbing of the fender............if not lift up ur ca rwith a jack if your wheel turns left right up and down ur bearing or hub is bad..........also if you are going down the road and the ride is really loud, bad bearing

I have the same issue. When driving, there is a slight rubbing noise. When I turn slightly left, the noise disappears. What is the fix for this? The last post was not too clear in explaining the troubleshooting steps.

could be a few things. if it sounds like metal on metal, check how much pad life is left on your brake pads. also, check both sides of your brake rotor and make sure there arent any wierd wear lines in them from a pad not sitting properly. i just had a brake noise on my car and found one of my brake pads completly cracked in half and was pushing into the rotor on braking.

as previously mentioned, check to see if your tire is rubbing on your inner fender splash skirt (the black inner fender liner). if the tire is in fact rubbing at full lock of the steering wheel, simply remove the inner fender liner.

a shot wheel bearing (or hub) will make more of a humming or grinding sound on load. there's a few good ways to check this yourself. one is to put your car on jackstands (do this at your own risk), have someone sit inside the car with the front wheels off the ground and go about 40k. take a stethoscope, and listen to each wheel bearing from underneath the car. it will be obvious if one or both are shot, which could potentially be causing the rubbing sound you are hearing

The noise is there even when the brakes are applied. You have to listen real close to hear the noise, and it doesn't sound like metal on metal.
