i have a 2000 sunfire that the left tail light works fine but the right one will go out and come back one when i shake the socket ,now i changed the bulb and it still does this is there a exact fix for this and also having a problem replacing the rear plate lights to ,if any one know how to slove these problems it would be greatly appreciated
Get a new socket for the tail light.
You need to take off that entire middle panel that says PONTIAC to get to the plate lights.
Either new socket, or see if the contacts are spread out to far
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
New socket. For cavy z24's they're expensive but I fixed the same problem by getting a new one.
