i have an 02 cavi that i put an eco in this march, and everything has been going fine until the fuel pump relay blew. i replaced it along with the fuel filter, then it blew on me again so i replaced the fuel pump with a junkyard special. everything seemed fine until the thing blew on me earlier this week. I kind of have a theory that the heat of the past few weeks and my steel hood not having any insulation made the relay blow, is that possible? or should i check something else?

Sounds to me to be wiring thats has a short, Or dirty terminals or bad ground connection.
