Really weird problem with buddies car!!! Help if u know what it is, were at a loss!!!

Hey guys, so here the issue. Me and a buddy just dropped a new motor (used i should say with 50,000 on it) and the car runs fine. Now the issue is this, while driving it, the ABS light and BRAKE light will turn on, and the blower motor will shut off no matter what speed its in. Now the real issue, I found this out yesterday the hard way. When that happens, and you turn off the car, you cant start it. Basically at that moment, it feels like the starter gave out on you. BUT, we replaced the starter yesterday (i had to push start the car and pop the cluth to get it going then after 30 to 40 seconds of driving, those lights went off, the blower kicked back on and everything was normal again) with a new one, and after starting and shutting off 4 or 5 times, the lights came back on, my buddy shut off the car, and again, same thing, it wont start. There has to be something with those three things, the lights, blower and ignition switch that is either loose or something because all 3 happen at the same time. Im at a loss. Idk if people here have had the same issue when replacing there motors or not. OH, this car is a 2002 Ls Sport with the Ecotec motor. So any ideas will be great. Remember, when those lights arent on, everything works, and car starts like normal. But when they are on, and the car gets turned off, the only way to start it is to push start the car. And, if your driving the car, and those lights come on, only thing that happens is the blower turns off, but the car stays running like everything is fine, and after driving the car for a min or two after they turn themselfs off and the blower turns back on. Thanks guys, and hopefully, someone has a idea where to start because were just lost at this moment. Thanks again!

My first thought springs to wires. Check all the ones that attach to the battery, are they worn or decayed? Maybe not reinstalled tightly?
Next, check ALL the ground wires. Have the ALL been hooked back up to the engine and various body contact points? Clean them if they are. The engine electrics are insulated from the body by rubber mounts. Therefore you need a GOOD ground to the engine.

My bet is you've got a poor wire connection that is directly related to removing and installing an engine. Focus in that area first.

Thanks man, were figuring its a ground somewhere. Now we just need to figure out which one. Every ground was hooked back up, but there has to be something either loose, or just not on. But since this is soo damn intermintent its hard as hell to trace. And after talking to my buddy, were thinking it has to do with the AC system, since saturdaynight we were diving the car around with the ac on (he mixed two sensors up by accident the coolant temp sensor and the VSS on the back of the trans) so the fan would stay on since we had no idea how hot the car was actually getting. Then while i was driving it tuesday, I didnt use the AC at all, and the car was fine, UNTIL I drove the last little bit with the AC on, and the car started acting up. Now this may have everything to do with it, it could be conicidence or it just could be us thinking way too deep into it. Either way, its still a symptom and i figured i would share. Thanks man for the help, my other buddy is going to look at it today (since i work till 1130pm and the car needs to run all day tmo for the emissions test to set the damn sensors) hopefully it has to do with the AC and i can just drive the car with it off, and everything be ok.

Check the cluster ground at the engine.

Should be off of the transmission up in front.
