So my passenger side seat belt gets intermittently stuck and will not pull out. If the seatbelt DOES come out, it will lock up and not allow my passenger to move. I looked in my repair manual and it says nothing about hpw to fix this problem. Do I need to replace the roller or is there some other common problem part? Any advice would be appreciated! (2001 Cavalier)

try pulling the belt all the way out to the very end then releasing it to coil up, repeat a few times. my belts did this every now and then and i believe there was a twist in it all the wayby the base of the spool.

however... i cant remember if that fixed the problem or if i untangled it when i had my interior panels off. ohwell, either way, hope that helps
