Ok well my 93 sunbird hasn't been ran for about 3 years. when parked it ran fine but now i go to start it and it just turns over. When i put starter fluid in it it ran just fine till it burnt it all. there is gas in the tank and i can hear the fuel filter turn on but i'm not sure where the pressure release valve is to see if its getting there or if its clogged.
What sort of tests should i be doing to diagnose this fuel issue. I'm used to carburation not electronic fuel injection and this stumps me.
Ok well i can't find an edit button but there is an update on the situation. I removed the fuel line from the pressure regulator and turned it over to check for fuel. Fuel came out then low and behold it tried to start up????? After reconnecting the line it was able to start and fire right up and after a few coughs when hitting the throttle ran like a champ. However now i am leaking fuel from the pressure regulator so i assume that i must have screwed up the o ring when putting it back in or something. Hopefully the stores have the o rings in stock or an o ring kit i can match up cause i'm really wanting to get this thing on the road again and get good gas mileage once again in my life. Oh crap i forgot to mention its the 2.0 sohc.
