mud in the crankcase ventilation hoses

i have a 1996 cavalier z24 with a 2.4 motor.
in the 2 hoses for the crankcase ventilation i'm getting mud which is oil mixed with water. has anyone else had this problem?
one hose goes to cold air intake and the other goes to front of motor which is the timing cover.
if i change the crankcase vent on the motor will this stop?
thanx for any feed back

Just clean everything really good, and you'll be fine. I just check mine once every few years.
Most people never even take the oil/air separator off to even clean it.
