Well I just went over some train tracks and popped out a washer and bolt from my back right tokico dspec strut (heard the ting ting cling instantly). Car still drives okay just makes a lot of squeaky strut mount noises. The washer/nut came from what i think (felt the other to judge difference) was located in the middle of the strut mount attached to the adjusting peice at the top (but down a little further). Also popped off the little adjusting cap on the dpsec.
Is this a cheap fix or am I going to have to buy a new strut? I've had problems before with my suspension and it's all been costly. These strut mounts do not seem to hold out for very long before they start to shred into little rubber peices.
Thanks.
strut mounts on cavys are know to deteriorate quickly. As for the strut the washer and nut that came also is what holds the strut to the mount. so just go find another washer and nut and put the strut back together properly!
