i just got a 98 cavalier and it just poped the check eng light on and when i tried to read it it wont read anything on my obd2 reader where should i start to find the problem
check your fuses ,, I dont remember off hand which one sorry..
Does the scanner come on when you plug it into the obd port??? If it don't you need the replace the fuse for the lighter plug. If it comes on the tries to connect to the computer then comes back saying something like there is a error connecting to the computer check the connection and try again you have a electrical problem.
it does not come on at all ill check the lighter fuse
