Car starts, but idles at 1500 RPM in park. When you put in into drive, while the motor is cold it drops and stays at 1000 RPM. When you are driving and have to stop at a light this happens:

And then just another example of the really bad idle. Notice that for whatever reason it never dies.

Parts that were installed on the motor are:
- GM Racing Valve Springs
- Car Customs SS Valves
- RSM 62mm Throttle Body
- JBP Stage 2 Cams
The person that installed the motor put in a new IAC sensor because the other one was cracked.

The brand of cams may be wrong, but I don't remember if they are LZM or JBP. I think they are LZM becasue I've never heard anything good about JBP and tend to listen to those of you that had issues with companies.
1) is the car tuned?
2) what are the specs on the cams?
3) do you have larger injectors/ adjustable fuel pressure regulator?
Did it start immediately after your upgrades? If not, check for vacuum leaks at the brake booster and PCV.

No the car is not tuned. I'm working with HPT to resolve an issue. The car cannot be read but all the fuses check out and the HPT box is getting power from the car and the computer. Specs on the cam are Duration @ .050*, Valve Lift, INTAKE 228*, 446, EXHAUST 232*, 448. Alright, I messed up and bought JBP. What was I thinking...retorical question, don't answer that. lol. No I do not have and adjustable FPR or larger injectors. Well, I'm not sure about the injectors since I picked the motor up from Darkstars with the injectors included. I'll have to ask him but I believe the are stock ones.
Yes it did start immediatelly, but I had a line running from my FPR to the CAI. Now the line runs to the intake manifold? The brass fitting is where the line was run before the new motor was put in. What is it running to now?
Yeah I added an extra hole to the TB elbow, but it works fine and the one it is supposed to be in is plugged up.
Prior to the new motor being put in the fan almost NEVER ran even after long trips. The only time it ran was when I was at the track. Now all I have to do is make a 20 minute trip and it kicks in. Only reason I bring it up is that someone suggested that I try to replace the thermostat since the car only acts up when its at normal operating temps. Don't know if it matters, but it goes a hair past 195.
Another idea, stemming from is that it might be the rear o2 sensor? I'm taking shots in the dark at this one since i don't know where to look anymore.
