I have a starter motor that I pulled from my girlfriends 1997 Sunfire 2.2 (vin 4) motor. I was basically new, so now I am trying to sell it.
I have had an inquiry from an individual who owns a 1998 Sunfire 2.2L.
I have checked some part websites and have found the same parts number between the 1997 and 1998 model. However the 1998 models are have additional gear reduction starters available as well.
will the 1997 2.2L starter still bolt up to replace a 1998 2.2L starter?
