i have a 2004 cavalier. as most of you know there is only 1 light bulb for each side of the vehicle as oppose to the 95-99 cavalier that had 1 light for high beam and 1 light for low beam. i dont know if this is normal or what so this i why im asking. my drivers side light bulb high beam works but the low beam doesnt work? does anyone has any idea why this might be.

Yeah a lot of newer vehicles only use 1 bulb which has 2 elements in the bulb, one high beam and one low beam. So usually when the low beam on one side doesnt work but the highbeam does or visa versa its just that element in the bulb has blown. Replacing the bulb should solve your problem.
