OK, so the car idles at 1200-1500 like its cool.
Disconnect power and reset, nothing, the tps can be disconnected and no difference
The kicker NO CODES
The Computer doesnt even know theres an issue.
I need to get this fixed before I boost, please advise.

Do you have any slack in the throttle cable? If not readjust the cable at the throttle body.

So the idle does not drop when you disconnect the TPS?

not a revolution man, not one. the computer does not even recognize its gone. I thought it may be a bad computer because when I connect an aftermarket radio the odometer reads error. has me confused and I want to get it fixed so I can put the turbo in..... bah!

Gotcha. That's unlike the problem I had where I would unplug the TPS and the idle would drop. I plugged the TPS back in, shut the car off, then disconnected the battery. I let it sit for a while, reconnected the battery and it's been fine ever since. You could try that. Won't hurt and it's free.

ftw!

get some carb cleaner. spray around your intake manifold where it meets the head, around all your injectors, etc. while the motor is running. when it bogs, you've found your leak. mine was a bad injector o-ring. check all your vacuum lines as well for leaks (MAP, brake booster, FPR).

teh count on the iac was 50 and my tb read 3% at idle. we are looking for vacuum leaks tonight. thankfully my friend had just ordered a new smoke machine for these things and it will be in tonight. but from the sensor readings is there any thoughts.
btw on his scanner we brought the iac couns to 32 and it idled at 950 rpms like nothing.

My Supercharged 2002 Z24 2.4 is doing this high idling.

Idles at 1500-1600 constantly.

Found & Replaced rotted/leaking vacuum cap on throttle body that is used when supercharged, no change.

Swapped IAC Valves, no change.

Cleaned & installed 2 different IAC Valves from 2 LD9s, no change.

Cleaned Throttle body, no change.

Started car, still 1600 rpms, unplugged IAC Valve, no change, left IAC unplugged, shut off car, dis-connected battery for about an hour.

Re-connected Idle Air Control Valve plug, re-connected battery, started car.

Now idling at 900-1000 rpms, much better.

Anyone know what the correct idle RPMs should be?

900 for a 5 speed and 600 for an auto I believe.
