So i have been fighting this problem for a couple months.. I thought i had this problem resolved, but i took a 200 mile road trip tonight. It started out fine, then i started to feel very slight bucking here and there. I made it to where i needed to go. On the way home, the car was starting to buck worse and worse. Every time it would happen it would drop the rpms about 3-400. There is no check engine light, or pending codes. I thought it wasn't going to get me home.. its a bad feeling.. I have replaced the following parts; Plugs, Wires, 2 Coils Packs, I did a transmission service also... What do i do next?
1997 Cavalier Z24
Cold Air Intake
Dynomax Super Turbo Exhaust
Drop Zone 2" Springs
Black Projectors
HID Head, Fog Lights
20% Tint
I have bucking problems every now and then when I am at stopped at lights...I get the not going to get me home feeling as well. I'm waiting for an answer too
I have fixed a similar problem on my old car and a friends car. Both would buck and had no power. Also my friend just replaced the plugs, but when he tightened them down he over tightened them and cracked 3 out of 4 plugs. My car was simple it had 70,000 miles on it and the original plugs. Both problems were fixed by replacing the plugs.

Sounds like it could be a fuel filter or pump needing replacement. Are both these original, especially the filter?
